Go read the end of peter parker spiderman volume 1. Spiderman places himself at the bottom of a building and holds it up Samson style. Keep in mind that he isnt superman and his strength is not enough but he manages to hold it up long enough and collapses afterward from the exertion. The longer he must hold it up his suit start to rip apart This is one my favorite comic book moments and that scene in the second movie was damn close to it.

I liked each movie less and less but seeing how I have nearly 2000 spiderman comics I was so happy to see these movies get made and I loved every minute of them. I was definitely not a bitter fan of the movies wishing for a complete overhaul. Frankly I doubt this redo even gets done and gets lost in production hell with tons of rewrites. Keeping everybody on board would of gotten us another great spiderman flick at least despite its imperfections.

Will they cast spiderman properly? Tobey wasnt perfect but he was damn close in my opinion.

mary jane watson? Kirsten Dunst is so freaking hot and I loved her in the role. Despite that sometimes she just looks too damn high and depressed.

James Franco was great as Harry Osborn too and nailed the role.

Sam Reimi is awesome too. Come on the man made Evil Dead and Army of Darkness.

Tobey Maquire nailed down alot of the aspects of Peter Parker. But he was too self loathing most of the time and didn’t excel well at being the super witty and funny Spiderman.

Oh well, only time will tell.
